The Dance of Duality is an artwork about duality. Utilizing parametric equations, I wanted to create a dance between two objects that represents an infinite back and forth, where the light stays circling in place, ever confident of itself, while the dark wonders off but always finds its way back to the light. I decided on the objects to be fish, as I am a Pisces, and the two circling fish of the Pisces symbolize the nature of duality. I also made there be 3 of each, as I also wanted to represent the Merkabah in this artwork. As far as the sound goes, it is representative of my own internal struggle between the nature of making digital audio pieces and recording analog instruments, in this I combine the two to make one.
